Now this might sound like mlm blasphemy to some of you. After all this is what network marketers have been doing for the last 20 years… The truth is if you have been in network marketing for any length of time you probably have heard an incredible story of how someone found out about network marketing through one of these ways and made it big. However, this does not mean that doing any of these things will bring you success.

Why is that?

Because these marketing systems have been put into place by people that have made it big and have a ton of people to go out and do them. Think about it, if you have a downline of over 1000 people that are passing out flyers in parking lots, and each puts out 100 flyers- then that leader has 100,000 flyers being put out for his business. Even with a number like 100,000 flyers the chances of one of them getting in the hands of a real prospect and then that prospect taking it serious are slim to none.

I have met many top leaders… not one actually uses these techniques to promote their own business- meaning they don’t go out and do what they teach. No most of the “big hitters” in network marketing got there because they have targeted their marketing. They only have marketed to other network marketers. For the longest time the only way to do this was by getting a hold of a genealogy list from a mlm company that had gone out of business. This allowed you the chance to make a ton of phone calls hoping you will find some of the people from the old company might want to take a look at your company. This method works O.K. if you don’t mind spending hours dialing on the phone. For most people they would rather get a tooth pulled instead.

Enter the internet age.

You can now target other network marketers on the internet without ever having to leave the comfort of your own home! Isn’t that one of the reasons you got into network marketing to begin. Now an average Joe can have the more power than the big hitter that sent his team of 1000 to pass out 100 flyers. Instead you can reach the tens of millions of network marketers that are on the internet looking for a better way to do things.

By using traditional internet marketing and combining it with network marketing you now can have not just a tool like a flyer , but a whole internet network marketing system. A system that works for you 24/7 approaching and attracting the people you want in your business to you. I call it the Online-Recruiting-Machine!
