It seems that during
these hard economic times it would be resourceful to learn how to make as much
money as you can, while saving as much as you can. This can be a daunting task
to many people, but when you take the time to analyze what you are trying to
accomplish and how you are going about doing it, the task becomes much easier.
For those of us that are of the go getter attitude and know that you can not
and will not be denied of your goals, look at such things as just another
opportunity for greatness.
If your sales are not
reaching the volume that you were anticipating, as if that is a surprise, then
you must sit down and research your product or services. You must be able to
stand out from the crowd and make your offer more eccentric than others. There
are several ways that you can become more attractive, but you must determine
how far you want to go and what are you willing to do. Prices are one thing
that most people look at before they make any kind of purchase, especially a
major one. If you can find a way to make your price stand out from your
competitors without losing your shirt, then that should be one of your first
priorities. I know you may be saying to yourself, why should I lower my price?
The reason you should do this is to gain a customer, not just for now, but
after the markets begins to rise again. Along with the lowering of the prices
you may also find some freebies to dress up everything the offer. Giving away
free gifts is not anything new to marketers; this has been one of the crown
jewels in the staples of advertising as well as building a list of potential
customers and business partners.
You could create
bundle packages and special offers that will show your customers that you are
truly concerned about the quality of what you are offering and impacting upon
their lives. Adding this to your product packages will greatly enhance customer
loyalty, putting you at the forefront of their mind every time they are in need
of certain products and services. It would be absolutely awesome if you could
offer the great buy one get one free. This has always proven to be a sure-fire
way to create customer loyalty. Recession advertising calls for recession
pricing to spruce up the chances of building a loyal customer base to advertise
to after the dust settles.
The keys to having a
recession strategy and to be able to make a true recession impact, one must
give up some things now to be able to win later. You must remember there are
cycles in economics and you must be able to ride the wave by recession planning
your business. It calls for drastic changes for some and no so drastic for
others , you must decide what you have to do to survive. Do what you have to do
in the recession to enable you to have customers on your rolodex after the
recession is over. Which tip are you going to put into action today? You can
